Blame Job Loss On The Weather Now (No Kidding) - Europe Too ! |

I happened to catch this and almost agreed, until I read it and thought about it.....Now they're blaming the job losses on the storms. How freaking sad !! Think about it. If companies are not hiring because of a storm, then how strong can the demand really be. I don't believe that there's really any true link between the storms and whether or not a company makes an economic decision to add employees. !! The government will spew anything out and the media will write it - no critical thinking at all.
Eurozone just released new stats on unemployment - Boy....It must be snowing hard over there too !:
The number of unemployed continue to rise - IMO - all the other stats about manufacturing, productivity etc., carry far less weight than the employment numbers. The euro started to rally today - until the U/E numbers were released. The Euro sold off sharply on the release.
