The other purpose is to find out how much money the govt can grab from
one group of citizens and re-distribute it to another.

Agreed. That is the CONGRESSIONAL intent. The CONSTITUTIONAL intent
is to assure that the appropriate number of Representatives are
assigned to each state.

It is my intent to simply state the number and ages of the residents
of this household.
